Ava Labs has recently announced the beta launch of Chainlink Functions on Avalanche Fuji testnet. The launch brings a serverless developer platform that allows easy connection of smart contracts to any Web2 API. By using Chainlink’s network, developers on Avalanche can build advanced and robust Web3 applications.
Previously, Web3 developers had inadequate infrastructure to access existing Web2 APIs, which limited their ability to access social media signals, messaging services, AI computation, and more. Similarly, Web2 developers found it challenging to leverage their existing infrastructure when building Web3 applications. However, Chainlink Functions addresses these issues by providing developers with the infrastructure necessary to build advanced applications that seamlessly integrate both Web3 and Web2.
