In addition, Risch has expressed an open-minded approach towards government investments in cryptocurrencies. Although he did not provide a specific timeline for the payment option, it is likely that payments made in Bitcoin will be exchanged immediately into the national currency, Swiss Francs. This decision was announced in an interview with “Handelsblatt” and highlights the increasing acceptance of cryptocurrencies in governmental sectors.
