Morgan Stanley Unveils $270 Million Investment in Bitcoin ETFs

Morgan Stanley has recently announced an investment of $270 million in Bitcoin ETFs. In its first quarter 13F disclosure, the company revealed its investment of $269.9 million specifically in spot Bitcoin ETFs through Grayscale’s GBTC.

According to Fintel data, Morgan Stanley’s investment positions them as one of the largest holders of GBTC. This comes after Susquehanna International Group’s significant investment of $1.0 billion, securing the leading position.

It is worth noting that Morgan Stanley is among several Global Systemically Important Banks (G-SIBs) that have disclosed their investments in spot Bitcoin ETFs. Other notable names in this group include the Royal Bank of Canada, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, BNP Paribas, and UBS.
