Twitter has collaborated with eToro, a trading app, to enhance the provision of cryptocurrency price charts and investment information to its users. Through the collaboration, users will view additional real-time information for financial assets, including cryptocurrencies, directly within the app. So far, live price charts for limited assets were accessible through a ‘cashtag’ symbol. However, Twitter is presently introducing an advanced cashtag capability that expands live price charts to comprise additional stocks, cryptocurrencies, commodities, and exchange-traded funds. Users can also directly access eToro’s platform from Twitter. According to Yoni Assia, eToro’s CEO, Twitter’s strategic decision is due to its millions of trader users.
