PostFinance, the fifth-largest financial institution in Switzerland, has announced its intention to incorporate cryptocurrency offerings for its user base via a partnership with the fully-regulated digital asset services provider Sygnum Bank. In an effort to provide its 2.5 million customers with expanded capabilities, PostFinance, which is wholly owned by the Swiss government, will initially provide access to market-leading cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH), with the intention of incorporating additional crypto-tokens in due time.
