In an impressive achievement, peaq emerged as the winner of Polkadot’s parachain auction #45, with substantial support from the community, resulting in a significant contribution of 207,141 $DOT ($1+ million) across 749 contributors.
This successful outcome bestows peaq with a 96-week lease of a parachain slot, commencing on July 31. This milestone is of paramount importance as it signifies peaq’s progression as a layer-1 parachain and signifies a significant step towards its imminent mainnet launch on Polkadot.
