Deutsche Bank Seeks Regulatory Approval for Digital Asset Custody Service

Deutsche Bank AG has submitted a request for regulatory approval to operate a digital asset custody service, including crypto currencies. In an announcement during a conference on Tuesday, David Lynne, head of the lender’s commercial banking division, stated that the institution is expanding its digital assets and custody business, and has submitted an application for a digital asset license to Germany’s securities regulatory body, the Bafin.
