Deutsche Bank has joined Project Guardian, an initiative led by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), with the aim of exploring the potential applications of asset tokenization in regulated financial markets. This collaborative project includes global policymakers such as the FCA, FINMA, and FSA, as well as representatives from the financial services industry. Specifically, Deutsche Bank will focus on the asset and wealth management workstream, testing an open architecture and interoperable blockchain platform to facilitate the service of tokenized and digital funds. Through this participation, the bank intends to propose protocol standards and contribute to industry development by identifying best practices.
