AI Token Merger Uniting Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, Ocean Protocol Set for June 13

Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol have announced the completion date for their token merger, which will take place on June 13. Prior to the merger, Fetch.ai’s native token (FET) will be renamed ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) two days earlier. This three-way merger will unify the crypto tokens of these AI platforms under Fetch.ai’s umbrella.

Starting from June 11, users will have the opportunity to exchange FET for ASI. Following the completion of the merger, SingularityNET’s AGIX and Ocean Protocol’s OCEAN tokens will also be swapped for ASI. This merger results in the creation of the ASI token, representing the largest decentralized network focused on the AI industry. By establishing a decentralized AI infrastructure, these Web3 companies aim to address concerns of dominance by tech giants and foster a transparent and open sharing of data between contributors.
